Dear Reader,
I am very excited that you’ve chosen to join us for the next section of our Bible reading plan. It is a journey that very few regret beginning.
This season, we’ll be diving into the Old Testament books of poetry. These writings—Psalms, Proverbs, Job, Ecclesiastes, and Song of Solomon—offer a uniquely honest glimpse into the human experience with God. At times, the poetry may challenge you with its vivid language or unfamiliar style, but don’t be discouraged! These books invite us to slow down and reflect, to wrestle with our questions, and to draw near to God in every season of life. Stay the course, and you’ll find rich treasures of wisdom and encouragement for your faith journey.
Grace!
Pastor Todd

Knowing that the Bible is a book about God, before reading, pray that God would help you to learn more about him today. As you read each day’s chapters, consider:
What are two or three things that these chapters taught you about God?
What are two or three things that these chapters taught you about people?
If you believe this passage is from God, what are some changes you plan to make in your life?
Choosing one section of your reading, who are you going to share it with today?
Do I have any questions after I read that I would like someone to answer?
