Our sexuality has been impacted by the fall and is in desperate need of redemption. We all think at some point that we almost have it 100% under control. And then we don’t. Sexual sin is deceiving: any serious reading of Proverbs proves that. It isn’t just marriage, occupations, reputation, or ministry that’s at stake. It’s our faith! For some people, that is considered a minor or lesser risk, which is PROOF that our mind is off track. Sex is about worship, so our rebellion and corruption makes this even worse. “Freedom is the increasing ability to choose holiness out of love for Christ, despite the relentlessness of the temptation.” The enemy is deeply invested in keeping us enslaved and ineffective for the Kingdom of God. Sexual sin is fundamentally IDOLATRY.

Because these things are true, we need a fundamental reset in our hearts and minds. Muscling up and figuring it out is not the answer. The answer is in our love for the Savior. That’s what this time is about. We’re going to discover REAL WAYS, REAL TOOLS to make CHRIST the focus. REAL SURRENDER to the King. This isn’t just another attempt to set these things aside. This is real. This works.
