Ascent

Weekly Gathering

Wednesday nights from 6:30 to 8:30pm at the old Jack's Shoes building at Cornerstone. Every Wednesday night the 5th & 6th graders meet for an awesome night of games, worship, small groups and Bible study. It's a time for the students to get to know each other and their leaders on a personal level and to learn how to have a personal relationship with God.

Our ministry's verse is Psalm 24:3-5:

Who may ascend the hill of the LORD? Who may stand in his holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to an idol or swear by what is false. He will receive blessing from the LORD and vindication from God his Savior.

5th & 6th Grade Sunday School

Sundays at the 9 & 11 am gatherings in room 2130. Come join your friends and some of the Ascent coaches as we study through the same passage being taught in the main gathering. Students will sit with their parents in the Worship Center for the opening set of songs, after which they will meet the leaders and fellow students in the lobby and walk together to the classroom for the lesson. Towards the end of the service, the leaders will escort the students back into the worship center to participate in the closing songs and baptisms. Parents will meet back up with their students in the church lobby at the conclusion of the service. We hope to see you there!

Note: Parents, if your student would prefer to attend the main gathering with you, they are welcome to do so. They are not required to attend this age-stage class.
