All Church Update | No Children’s Ministry

Dear Cornerstone Family,

It has been quite the season with several unforeseen, last-minute changes! However, we want to thank you for your ongoing patience and understanding as we continue to evaluate the best way to move forward each week. We will do our best to reserve Fridays (around noon) to communicate any potential updates, should any future gatherings be canceled or postponed.

That being said, with the amount of staff and volunteers that are unavailable this week, we do not have the sufficient manpower to operate any Children's Ministry classes again this Sunday.

So, like last week, we would love to have you and your family join us for our main service at 10am. We will have children's activity packets available for your kids if you are attending in person. And for those of you joining us online, we've curated a webpage of activities for your family (a video lesson, craft, and printable coloring sheets).

This Sunday, Todd is kicking off our new series on the book of 1 Thessalonians. We are excited to dive into God's Word, and we pray that the Lord would prepare in each of us a heart of worship that is pleasing to him and saturated with the hope of Jesus Christ.

As we prepare our hearts for corporate worship this Sunday, may we seek the Lord for wisdom and discernment in regards to sickness that is going around, so that we can humbly care for each other and our neighbors with a posture of grace and understanding.

If you're not feeling well, please stay home and let us know so that we can pray for you. You can submit a prayer request here. And if you're feeling cautious, we understand! We will continue to have masks and hand sanitizer available in the lobby, and you are more than welcome to keep your distance as we gather for worship in the sanctuary. The livestream will also be available for you to join us in worship online (Lord-willing, should we fight off the rare, but nasty, technical difficulties).

So, Cornerstone, no matter where you're at right now, know that we love you, we're praying for you, and we're so thankful to the Lord for this wonderful, beautiful church. This year, may we grow in our love and understanding of our good and gracious Father.

Grace!
